How many people can participate and how much does it cost?

Each mission can only be accomplished as a group of up to 12 people. Up to 6 people will work in one team. Starting at 7 players the group will be split in 2 teams competing against each other. The price varies depending on how many people are in your group. Detailed price information can be found here. 

How can I book a mission?

You can book and pay the mission of your choice right here. Please notice that you have to book your mission at least 48 hours in advance.

In which language can we play the missions? 

You can choose between English and German.

Can I cancel the game?

The customer has the right to cancel the booked game for free or to rebook it for free up to 48 hours before the booked game would take place. After this time cancellation fees of 100 percent of the customer's payment will be charged.

What happens if it rains?

If it rains please contact us: You can decide to do it anyway – you’re not made of sugar, right? :) – or you can move the booking to the next rain free slot.

What are the payment options?

Payment is possible by credit card, immediate transfer, paypal and Giropay. 

What if we get stuck/need help or a hint during our mission?

Each challenge during your mission can be completed independently; i.e.: you can complete challenge 4 without completing challenge 3 (or 2 or 1). So don’t worry if you get stuck on one challenge – just move on, and try to solve the case with all the other clues you find.

How much time do we need to finish a mission?

Depending on your crime solving skills you will finish one mission in 1 – 2 hours.

How many different missions are there?

Currently we offer one mission through the most famous part of the inner city. Soon there will be more.

Are all missions the same except the location?

No, of course not! On each mission you have to solve a different case and also get to know a different part of the city. You should definitely try all of them.

What should we wear/bring?

In general you can wear whatever you want – the tour doesn’t need any special gear. Nevertheless we recommend to wear comfortable shoes, as you will be walking through the city for the duration of the tour.

Who is your target group?

Our missions are designed for both, tourists and locals and fit almost every occasion: just for fun, to get to know the city, your first date, your birthday or your best friend’s bachelor/bachelorette party – you will always have a great experience with Vienna Mysteries. Recommend for the age of 16 and older.

Do we have to prepare for the mission?

No, preparation is not necessary. You just meet with one of our Vienna Mysteries staff members at the beginning and will be provided with all the information and material you need.

Where is the meeting point for the missions?

Each mission has a different meeting point, which we will inform you of in your booking confirmation email. Therefore be sure to sign up with the correct email address. The mission always starts and ends at the same spot.

I am pregnant - is that a problem?

No not at all. There is no physical strain necessary.

How doed the game work if two teams play against each other?

Starting at 7 players you have to split your goup in 2 teams competing against each other. Both teams start at the same time but in opposite directions. The faster team with the right solution wins.
